Comprised of 36 cameras, one switch, one server, and one GPU, this portable 3D reconstruction and playback system runs at 210 Gbps and records to server SSDs. The system uses 36 HR-12000-S-C 10GigE cameras featuring the 12 MP Sony Pregius IMX253 CMOS image sensor. Through a high-speed 10GigE SFP+ interface, the GigE Vision and GenICam-compliant camera reaches up to 84 fps and offers multi-camera synchronization at less than 1 µs, low CPU overhead, and fiber cable lengths from 1 m to 10 km without the need for fiber converters or repeaters.

Emergent Vision Technologies’ area-scan cameras range from low-resolution (0.5 MP) 10GigE and 25GigE devices that can reach 1586 fps all the way up to 103 MP 100GigE cameras that can reach 24 fps.
