Maple Ridge, BC, Canada – June 26, 2018- Emergent Vision Technologies, the pioneers of 10 Gigabit Ethernet High Speed Cameras, which have been shipping for over 6 years, is excited to announce the launch of the first ever 25 GigE High Speed Cameras, The Bolt Series. The EVT Bolt Series by Emergent Vision Technologies is the next standard in high-speed, high-definition area scan imaging. The EVT Bolt Series will extend the boundaries of machine vision applications worldwide. As an industry first, the 25 GigE interface provides a 2.5 times increase in data transmission speeds over its 10 GigE predecessor and a twenty-five-fold increase over the industry-standard GigE interface. 25 Gigabit Ethernet is a standard for Ethernet connectivity developed by the IEEE 802.3. The EVT Bolt Series 25 GigE cameras are also GigEVision and GenICam compliant.
The EVT Bolt Series
HB-50000: Delivering an image resolution of 7920x6004 pixels at 30fps, the HB-50000 can be used in environments where products/objects are moving at high speeds.
HB-12000: With an image resolution of 4096x3000 at an impressive frame rate of 188fps, the HB-12000 is a 4K solution at top speed.
The EVT Bolt Series will utilize fiber cabling and low cost SFP28 transceivers from 1 meters to 10 kilometers, without the need for fiber converters or repeaters.
The first Bolt Series 25 GigE Cameras are set to go into production by Q3 2018.
About Emergent Vision Technologies
EVT was founded in 2007 in Vancouver, Canada bringing together over 40+ years of imaging experience ranging from life science, security and machine vision/industrial markets. They are the first providers of cameras based the 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GigE) and 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GigE). 10GigE and 25GigE exceeds the bandwidth of even the advanced interfaces including USB 3.0, CoaXPress and CameraLink. At the same time the costs are low and the technology is fully developed since any modern IT network utilizes the 10GigE and 25GigE standard for broadband data transmission. The GenICam™, GigEVision® and GenTL™ standards make the integration with all major software libraries as easy as can be. Since its foundation in 2007, Emergent Vision Technologies Inc. has paved the way for new imaging innovations with high resolution, high speed cameras.
