The Pace Series LR-8K Cameras
Maple Ridge, BC, Canada – April 9, 2018- Emergent Vision Technologies, the pioneers of 10 Gigabit Ethernet High Speed Area Scan Cameras, which have been shipping for over 6 years, is excited to announce the launch of the first ever 10GigE Line Scan cameras, The Pace Series. The EVT Pace Series by Emergent Vision Technologies is the first of its kind line scan camera utilizing the 10GigE interface. The EVT Pace Series 10 GigE Line Scan cameras are also GigEVision and GenICam compliant.
The EVT Pace Series
The Pace LR-8K is the world’s first line scan machine vision camera to use the 10 GigE Vision interface. Utilizing the E2V 8K Sensor, the LB-8K is an excellent choice for high-precision, low-noise line scan imaging. The sensor provides line rates of 137KHz single line, 68KHz bilinear, and 45KHz trilinear at an 8K horizontal resolution. The 8K sensor in the Pace LR-8K also supports multi-line scan with enhanced control for the scanning of each line.
The EVT Pace Series will utilize fiber cabling and low cost SFP+ transceivers from 1 meter to 10 kilometers, without the need for fiber converters or repeaters. For shorter lengths, customers can utilize our direct attach copper cable up to 10M.
The first 10GigE Line Scan Pace Cameras are set to go into production by Q3 2018.
About Emergent Vision Technologies
EVT was founded in 2007 in Vancouver, Canada bringing together over 40+ years of imaging experience ranging from life science, security and machine vision/industrial markets. They are the first providers of cameras based the 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GigE) and 25 Gigabit Ethernet (25GigE). 10GigE and 25GigE exceeds the bandwidth of even the advanced interfaces including USB 3.0, CoaXPress and CameraLink. At the same time the costs are low and the technology is fully developed since any modern IT network utilizes the 10GigE and 25GigE standard for broadband data transmission. The GenICam™, GigEVision® and GenTL™ standards make the integration with all major software libraries as easy as can be. Since its foundation in 2007, Emergent Vision Technologies Inc. has paved the way for new imaging innovations with high resolution, high speed cameras.
