100GigE: The Industry’s Most Powerful Interface

Emergent Vision Technologies’ Pinnacle LZ-16KG5 100GigE line scan camera can reach a top single line rate of 400KHz and a trilinear rate of 133KHz through 100GigE QSFP28, enabling high-speed and low-noise image capture to ensure all inspection, sorting, and production control requirements are met.

The 100GigE QSFP28 interface eliminates the need for costly fiber converters/repeaters by allowing cable lengths from 1M up to 10KM. Both GigE Vision and GenICam compliant, the Pinnacle 100GigE camera is based on GPixel’s 16Kx16 GL5016 CMOS image sensor, with a 5×5µm pixel cell size and an 81.92mm sensor scanning width and is available in color and monochrome versions.

In addition to the LZ-16KG5, the Pinnacle series also features the TLZ-9KG5 100GigE line scan camera. Based on Gpixel’s GLT5009BSI 9K 256 TDI CMOS sensor, the monochrome camera reaches a line rate of 608KHz through its high-speed 100GigE QSFP28 interface.
