Automatica 2025 | RDMA & GigE Vision 3.0 compliant 10, 25 & 100GigE cameras

Automatica 2025: New Cameras, Live Demos, Real Innovation
Emergent provides solutions for the most demanding automation projects with 10, 25, and 100GigE area-scan and line-scan cameras. And we’ve thought about what happens to all of that data within our eCapture Pro software, featuring FlexProc and FlexTrans—technologies that give you full control of processing and storage tasks after image capture.

New at Automatica: EROS is the smallest, lowest power 10GigE camera in the world.
Its small 29 x 29mm dimensions compare with leading GigE cameras that run at lower speeds. It uses only 4.8W BaseT with PoE and 3W SFP+ single-mode fiber. EROS can auto-negotiate down to 5, 2.5 and 1GigE, making it flexible for different applications and network speeds.
- Resolution: 0.33 – 24.5MP
- Speed: 30 – 711FPS
- Chroma: Color, Mono, SWIR, Polarized, UV
- Sensors: Gen4 Sony Pregius S
- Interfaces: RJ45 (with and without PoE), Fiber
EROS 10GigE Camera
EROS cameras are offered with RJ45 and fiber connectivity. Chroma versions include color, mono, SWIR, UV and polarized.
FlexProc and FlexTrans answers ‘What do you do with all that data?’
Our FlexProc and FlexTrans software technologies allow user-defined, flexible processing and storage of image data from vision systems. These technologies are especially useful in creating and operating multi-camera systems.
-
FlexProc: Enables user-defined processing tasks at various nodes, including GPUDirect, optimizing performance.
-
FlexTrans: Allows flexible data storage solutions post-image capture, including hard drive storage or to the cloud.
Using a drag-and-drop interface, you arrange the cameras and decide which nodes perform these tasks within your system. Layer on your own custom CPU, GPU, or FPGA plugins, or build your own.
FlexProc & FlexTrans at Automatica 2025
We’ll have an 8-camera BOLT HB-25000-SB-C 25GigE demo showing how FlexProc and FlexTrans work. The HB-25000-SB-C camera offers 24.47MP and a maximum of 98 frames per second.
FlexProc and FlexProc: User-defined processing
FlexTrans moves the imaging data between nodes in your system, with the highest performance and lowest latency possible. Featuring zero-copy and GPUDirect support, FlexTrans makes sure every image is where you want it to be. This screen shows the application of brightness adjustments to various parts of the image.

Demo showing EROS 10GigE, BOLT 25GIgE and PINNACLE 100GigE high-speed industrial cameras.
A single Lenovo P620 workstation runs two EROS 10GigE, a BOLT 25GIgE and a PINNACLE 100GigE high-speed industrial cameras running multiple automation applications.
All-in-one Automation Demo: EROS 10GigE + BOLT 25 GigE + PINNACLE 100GigE
We’re showing off some of our best cameras for automation, all in one demo. Running on a single Lenovo P620 computer equipped with an NVIDIA RTX A6000 video card, there will be two EROS 10GiGe cameras, a BOLT 25GigE camera and a PINNACLE 100GigE line scan camera.
All of these cameras will be running on our fully-featured eCapture Pro software.
- Color and SWIR EROS 10GigE cameras will look at rotating pieces of fruit. EROS is our “do everything” camera: small, power efficient, versatile and able to autonegotiate to 1, 2.5 and 5GigE.
- The PINNACLE 100GigE line scan camera focuses on a fast-spinning drum with printed labels. The images are captured with clarity for fast moving inspection applications.
- The BOLT 25GigE camera looks at fast-spinning circuit boards and captures crisp detail of their small components.
