Line scan camera systems allow real-time inspection of fast-moving parts. Processing is performed by a GPU in a workstation located near to the line. In this case, three cameras work in conjunction to inspect the parts as they move by.
Multi-camera systems are supported by the use of the IEEE 1588 standard, which enables 1µs sync between cameras. Emergent’s eSDK Pro and eCapture Pro software have the built-in FlexProc (“flexible processing”) and FlexTrans (“flexible transport”) technologies, which allow you to control which nodes in your system perform capture, processing, transfer and storage tasks.

BOLT Series: 25GigE offers increased resolution and framerates
BOLT 25GigE cameras provide higher framerates and resolutions than 10GigE cameras. When your application requires higher speed (e.g. moving conveyor) or higher resolution (e.g. PCB inspection), BOLT cameras are a great choice.

Recommended Line Cameras for Inspection Applications
Emergent recommends line scan cameras with time delay integration (TDI) capabilities for industrial and inspection applications. TDI provides for better light absorption as the products get their final inspections, and therefore a crisper image, even at high speeds.
