From June 1 to June 3 in Santa Clara, California, Emergent Vision Technologies showcases its award-winning line of high-speed cameras and volumetric capture software at AWE USA 2022. As part of the show, Emergent Vision Technologies’ turnkey 3D reconstruction and playback system is nominated in the Best Creator & Authoring Tool category of the 2022 Auggie Awards — which celebrate innovations in the augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality industry.
Our portable demonstration system simplifies the challenges of bringing VR, AR, MR, and volumetric capture/metaverse systems to life through high-quality 3D content generation. The system consists of 36 cameras, one switch, one server, and one GPU. The portable 3D reconstruction and playback system runs at 210 Gbps and records to server SSDs. Thirty-six 10GigE cameras featuring the 12 MP Sony Pregius IMX253 CMOS sensor provide image capture. Through a high-speed 10GigE SFP+ interface, the GigE Vision– and GenICam-compliant camera reaches 80 fps and offers multi-camera synchronization at less than 1 µs, low CPU overhead, and fiber cable lengths from 1 m to 10 km.
Emergent Vision Technologies’ new eCapture Pro software delivers several benefits to end users, including turnkey integration, complete project management, camera setting flexibility, advanced preview and recording capabilities, synchronized capture to micro-second accuracy, and calibration, background, and production take management. Additionally, the fully scalable software provides advanced playback functionality for spatial and time domain, camera calibration with auto camera position detection, integrated 3D reconstruction and texturing, an Unreal/Unity plugin for streaming models, and more.
Emergent Vision Technologies has established itself as a one-stop shop for building such systems, offering high-speed cameras, software, and consulting services. Voting is live until May 5. Check out our demonstration and cast your Auggie Awards vote today:
