Hologic, a leader in women’s health and medical diagnostics, developed the Genius® Digital Imager, which is FDA-cleared for use in digital cytology. The platform enables high-resolution, volumetric imaging of cytology slides and applies advanced analysis to support cervical cancer detection.

To meet the system’s imaging requirements, Hologic selected high-speed, high-resolution camera technology from Emergent Vision Technologies. Emergent has worked alongside Hologic’s engineering team to support camera integration throughout the development and commercialization of the Genius® Digital Imager.
