Two New ZENITH 100GigE Cameras Now Shipping
Emergent Vision Technologies announces two new ZENITH 100GigE cameras are now shipping with the Sony IMX928 and IMX947 sensors
Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada – 9 June 2026 – Emergent Vision Technologies is now shipping two new models in its ZENITH 100GigE camera series: the HZ-65000-SB, featuring the Sony IMX 928 sensor, and the HZ-25000-SBS, with the IMX 947 sensor.
Two new ZENITH 100GigE cameras are now shipping
First announced in September 2025 as part of Emergent’s latest group of Sony Pregius S-based ZENITH 100GigE cameras, these models give vision system designers new options for ultra high-speed resolution imaging using the QSFP28 100GigE interface.
Both cameras support GigE Vision 3.0, RDMA / RoCE v2, and GenICam. Used within Emergent’s proven and mature system architecture, they also offer low CPU overhead, low latency, low jitter, and IEEE1588 synchronization for multi-camera systems.
The HZ-65000-SB features the Sony Pregius S IMX928 CMOS sensor and captures 68MP images at 8256 x 8256 resolution. At full resolution, the camera reaches 138fps at 8-bit, 126fps at 10-bit, and 90fps at 12-bit. The IMX928 sensor is back-illuminated for better low light performance and clearer images at high framerates.
The HZ-25000-SBS features the Sony Pregius S IMX947 CMOS sensor and captures 26MP images at 5136 x 5136 resolution. At full resolution, the camera reaches 423fps at 8-bit, 383fps at 10-bit, and 277fps at 12-bit. Its larger 5.48 x 5.48µm pixels make it a practical choice for high-speed imaging setups where light collection, sensitivity, and reduced motion blur are important. The IMX947 sensor is also back-illuminated.
Each of the two ZENITH models have the M52 lens mount as standard, with RF, EF/F and Micro Four-Thirds mounts also available.
Typical applications for the HZ-65000-SB and HZ-25000-SBS include industrial inspection, machine vision, biomedical imaging, sports analytics and broadcast, virtual reality, volumetric capture, motion capture, immersive 3D content, and AI-powered computer vision.
Multi-camera systems using ZENITH 100GigE cameras can be built with Emergent’s eCapture Pro or eSDK Pro software. Zero-copy and NVIDIA GPUDirect support allow image data to move efficiently from camera to processing hardware for real-time acquisition, processing, transfer, and storage.
