Emergent Vision Technologies Introduces 127.7 MP 25GigE Camera Featuring Sony IMX661 CMOS Sensor
PORT COQUITLAM, British Columbia — Nov. 3, 2022 — Emergent Vision Technologies, a pioneer in high-speed GigE Vision cameras and vision technologies, introduces the 127.7 MP HB-127-S, the latest addition to its award-winning Bolt 25GigE cameras. Through its 25GigE SFP28 interface, the camera captures full resolution (13400 x 9528) images at 17 fps.
Available in monochrome and color versions, the camera features Sony’s IMX661 CMOS image sensor — a 127.7 MP, 56.7 mm CMOS image sensor with 3.45 x 3.45 µm pixel size. Both GigE Vision and GenICam compliant, the camera reaches 17 fps in 8-bit, 10-bit, and 12-bit modes.
“Evolving machine vision and imaging applications — both on the factory floor and beyond — often require bleeding edge technologies suitable for the unique needs of the customer,” said John Ilett, president and CTO at Emergent Vision Technologies. “The HB-127-S gives systems integrators and OEMs who require options for sensor size and speeds a reliable, high-performance camera for machine vision applications.”
Maximize the Benefits of 25GigE
To help end users get the most out of the HB-127-S and other Bolt 25GigE cameras, Emergent Vision Technologies launched the Hermes network interface card (NIC). The PH-25-DUAL NIC features a front port trigger and 25GigE SFP28 interface that delivers optimal performance for any video stream with minimal CPU and system memory utilization, along with low latency, low jitter, and GPUDirect.
Bolt 25GigE cameras come in a comprehensive range of options, from the HB-500-S (0.5 MP, Sony IMX426, 1594.7 fps), all the way up to the new HB-127-S. Since launching the first 25GigE camera on the market in 2018, the series has received multiple industry awards, including a Platinum and a Silver Vision Systems Design Innovators Award and an NAB Product of the Year Award in the Cameras category. All Emergent Vision Technologies cameras offer standard accessories and cabling options to cover any length. Additionally, Emergent Vision Technologies’ GigE Vision cameras can be synchronized with IEEE 1588 PTP.
Emergent Vision Technologies has more than 10 years shipping 10GigE, 5 years shipping 25GigE, and 2 years shipping 100GigE. Avoid the imitators. Engage the innovators.
