Emergent Wins Three 2023 Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards for High-Speed Machine Vision Cameras and Software
Emergent Vision Technologies was honored with three 2023 Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards during a ceremony on May 22 at Automate in Detroit for 25GigE and 100GigE machine vision cameras and comprehensive 3D rendering and recording software. The judging panel consisted of experts from systems integrator and end-user companies.
The annual Vision Systems Design Innovators Awards program reviews and recognizes the most innovative products and services in the machine vision and image processing industry. Criteria used in the Innovators Awards ranking included: originality, innovation, and impact on designers, systems integrators, and end-users; fulfilling need in the market that hasn’t been addressed by leveraging a novel technology; and increasing productivity.

Bolt HB-127-S 25GigE Machine Vision Camera
A 2023 Silver honoree, the Bolt HB-127-S 25GigE camera captures full resolution (13400 x 9528) images at 17fps through its 25GigE SFP28 interface. Available in monochrome and color versions, the camera features Sony’s IMX661 CMOS image sensor — a 127.7MP, 56.7mm CMOS image sensor with 3.45×3.45µm pixel size. Both GigE Vision and GenICam compliant, the camera also offers zero data loss, low jitter, low noise, accurate multicamera synchronization using IEEE1588 PTP, and three supported cabling options for cable lengths from 1M to 10KM.
eCapture Pro Comprehensive Application Software
A 2023 Silver honoree and winner in the Camera Support, Control, and Accessories category of the 2022 NAB Product of the Year Awards, eCapture Pro comprehensive development software provides an intuitive graphical interface for complete and easy system integration, camera setting flexibility, advanced preview and recording, and synchronized capture to microsecond accuracy, as well as calibration, background, and production-take management capabilities. In addition, eCapture Pro enables the use of the industry’s fastest frame rates for applications such as volumetric capture.
Pinnacle LZ-16KG5 100GigE Line Scan Camera
A 2023 Bronze honoree, the Pinnacle LZ-16KG5 100GigE line scan camera can reach a top single line rate of 400KHz and a trilinear rate of 133KHz through the industry’s fastest interface — 100GigE QSFP28. Available in monochrome and color versions, the camera is based on GPixel’s 16Kx16 GL5016 CMOS image sensor, with a 5×5µm pixel cell size and an 81.92mm sensor scanning width. Both GigE Vision and GenICam compliant, the camera allows cable lengths from 1M to 10KM.
